You Are Fearfully and Wonderfully Made!
Updated: Oct 25, 2018
The number one thing every young lady has to face in today’s society is the word beauty and perfection. What does beauty even mean? The first thought that pops into our mind is “perfection”. What is perfect? Is there even perfect? We all make up imaginations in our mind. It might look like this; skinny tall figure, long thick hair, perfect skin, a flawless torso and a gorgeous smile. Why do we think that way? Has God ever given us a list and told us this is a perfect woman. No ladies! God taught us one very important thing; “I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well” Psalm 139:14.
Do not compare yourself to others for you are fearfully and wonderfully made in Gods image! Love your body and see the strength of your personality instead of your weakness. I encourage you to really focus on this the rest of the week. Any place you go if school or work proudly wear your crown that God has given you, because you are worthy and loved by him.
On days were your crown is crooked forgive yourself for your wrong doings and hurt because peace in your heart shines beauty in your eyes; “Your eye is the lamp of your body. When your eye is healthy, your whole body is full of light, but when it is bad, your body is full of darkness” Luke 11:34. Stand up straight and shine because you are a daughter of the King.
