Loving one Another
Updated: Oct 25, 2018
Most of us are familiar with the so-called Ten Commandments. The Ten Commandments are known as Gods law given to us but do we actually follow his law? My biggest challenge in life is to love everyone like his or her neighbor. Do you accept and love everyone like you should? Do you have people you don’t like? Is that good?
We all struggle with the same problem. This world is so sinful, and so are we. God’s first commandment given to us is, “And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength…” Mark 12:30. As I have faced the truth and accepted that also I have broken that commandment, I knew I had to change something. I faced the world in a different view. Instead of judging or avoiding people from my daily basis, I prayed for each and everyone. I didn’t judge any of them but rather I admired their positive characteristics. I didn’t try to look for mistakes or negative things about them but think highly of their talent. Do you have people in your life you dislike? Or judge all the time? How about we start with instead of disliking them, see them as our challenge. Pray for them and let them see that you are a follower of Christ because the second commandment says: “Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself” Mark 12: 31. To love one another means to love other people as Christ loves us, to accept each and every human being, as they are all made in the image of God. The individual who cherish Christ the heavenly Spirits power will confirm that they are followers of the Son of God, Jesus Christ.
What is your biggest challenge in life?
