7 Things to Improve Your Relationship

Quality is over Quantity

We tend to think that all of our time has to be spent with our loved one and because of that the appreciation for each other likes to fade. It’s not about how many hours you get to see him but instead how many hours being memorable and valuable. Give your time together quality!!!

Understand instead of being understood

I believe we all agree that arguments are a part of a relationship. A simple step I’ve personally seen as helpful is trying to understand his point of view. Put yourself in his situation, how would you have handled the situation? Why does he think the way he thinks? Understand him don’t try to be understood.

Open Hearts

To me it means everything that I fully know I can trust in my boyfriend and he can trust me! Be honest with each other, share each other’s feelings and thoughts. Have an open heart that can be trusted because there is no feeling like knowing he trusts you.

Appreciate one another

When is the last time you told your boyfriend, fiancé or husband that you appreciate them? Appreciate your time, love and friendship and tell them you appreciate it. It is the little things that mean the most like a small letter or a few simple words.

God is your Rock

Psalm 18:2 says, “The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” God is your rock in your daily basis but also in your relationship. Have devotion time together, pray for each other and with each other and you will be filled with blessings upon you.

Listen, Communicate and Forgive

Sometimes it does not need a lot, just someone with an open ear. Show interest in their life, communicate with one another and have deep conversations. Forgive one another’s failings and build each other up with goodness and love. A diamond does not get its shine from nothing it takes work and effort to give it the perfect shine. Make each other shine like diamonds!!!

Date Night

Every couple needs their alone time together if it is on a night walk or over a picnic. A date night should always be a part of your week.
